The Ultimate Direction SCRAM pack was built to attend to the multi-dimensional demands of adventurer Anton Krupicka and mountain athletes like him. The name is an acronym for the skiing, climbing, running, and more that this versatile pack can support. The pack is constructed of lightweight, but surprisingly durable nylon materials and 4-way stretch-woven mesh. This combination delivers excellent abrasion-resistance and has a PU coating to help fend off the elements. A compression-molded backpanel adds structural support with minimal weight or bulk. A single adjustable elastic sternum strap lets you dial in fit, but Ultimate Direction throws in a second strap to add stability when you're carrying a ton of gear. There's also a minimalist waistbelt for those heavy-hauling situations that can be removed entirely when not needed. To ensure a proper fit, the vest is available in Small/Medium (25'-40' chest measurement) and Medium/Large (30'-48') size options. The large 1434 cubic inch rear compartment has a smart, streamlined lid that provides quick access but also does a great job of securing and protecting the compartment's contents. There are also readily-accessible pockets on the front harness and a security pocket with a water-resistant zipper. Numerous attachment points allow you to lash gear externally and included stretch elastic cord with an attached hook enables the pack to effectively carry skis.
